As his 2IC Geology, your career development will come from a few different angles:
- Project Management - once you are int he swing of things, manage all geological aspects of 4-6 projects at a time (with assistance and training as needed)
- Mentoring - hands-on management style, which you will directly benefit from. In turn, assist his with formal training and daily guidance of the other 4 Geologists in the team
- Projects - the 'go-to-guys' for feasibility studies in QLD, giving you access to the big juicy projects you want, without the BD push most other consultancies have
Very much a succession planning role: once you are on your feet, take over higher-end client facing and management responsibilities.
8-15 years experience; strong modelling experience (minex prefered, not essential); solid understanding of coal geology; teamwork and leadership exp.
