Senior Mine Geologist- Open Pit Iron Ore
This role involves control of the Geology Department and all funtions on site, whilst directly reporting to the Technical Services Manager and with technical support from HQ.
Supervise and develop a Mine Geology team consisting of 2 Mine Geo's and 2 Grad's. Initially commencing as a Senior you will mentor 2 more Junior Mine Geo’s once you have expanded the team.
As the team grows so will your responsibilities including exposure to the resource modeling and estimation side of things. Involvement in iron ore quality and reconciliations.

Degree with 7 years + experience in open pit mining role with Surpac experience are highly valued in this role.
